The New Airbus A350 Is A BIG PROBLEM For Boeing. Here’s Why. The A350 is a flagship wide-body aircraft that has grown in popularity among airlines in the last decade. Comparable only with Boeing's 787 Dreamliner and the 777x, the aircraft type has an exciting set of new components, powered by the most efficient engines, and can go an exceptional range. Alongside the enterprising A380, the A350 is the best innovation we have seen from Airbus. What makes the A350 so unique? Why is it presenting a massive challenge to Airbus's arch-rival, Boeing? Subscribe Here → 🤍 #Hyperspeed
At 73 metres in length, and with an 80 metre wingspan, the Airbus A380 is the world’s largest ever passenger plane. Travelling at speeds of over 700 mph, this jumbo jet can transport you between countries in utter luxury. But how exactly is life inside an A380? Global giant, British Airways, runs a fleet of these feats of engineering, setting the standard for Economy comfort in the industry. Passengers will be immediately greeted with a double width staircase towards the front of the plane, one of the first of its type, and of course leading to the A380’s famous upper deck. Throughout the cabin, LED lights provide the most energy efficient lighting solution. These can be controlled to mimic different scenes, or moods, such as sunset and sunrise, to help prevent fatigue among passengers, helping with the changing time zones. Plenty of natural light also enters the cabin during daylight hours through the exceptionally large windows, which are larger than most other aircrafts’. Biggest Plane in the world
Watch More Mustard Videos & Support The Channel: 🤍 Support Mustard on Patreon: 🤍 Mustard Merchandise: 🤍 Instagram: 🤍 TikTok: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 Website: 🤍 In 1974, Boeing vice president Jim Austin described the Airbus A300 as “a typical government airplane” of which “they’ll build a dozen or so and then go out of business.” He wasn't alone in his criticism. And he was almost right. Airbus began a decade earlier as an ambitious effort to stop the Americans from completely taking over the global aviation industry. Boeing and McDonnell Douglas together were building over 80% of the world’s jetliners. And soon, they would be joined by Lockheed. All three manufacturers were introducing new state-of-the-art wide-body airliners that would revolutionize air travel in the 1970s by offering increased comfort and efficiency. Europe’s aircraft build stood little chance at competing. Unless they worked together. By the mid-1960s plans were underway to build a truly European airliner. One that would involve the continent's leading manufacturers. It wasn't the first attempt at European cooperation (the French and British had already joined efforts to build Concorde), but nothing on this scale had ever attempted. The Europeans would build a new kind of airliner, a purpose-build, short to medium range ‘people mover’, which was increasingly being described as an ‘air bus’. The new plane would be highly optimized for efficiency by using the latest technologies and state of the art materials. It would feature just two turbofan engines, when the soon to be introduced American wide-bodies would have three or four. It meant Europe’s jet would offer increased fuel economy and lower maintenance. It would be called the A300. France, Britain, West Germany, the Netherlands and Spain would each manufacturer portions of the plane for final assembly in Toulouse France. The logistics alone were a spectacular feat. But getting the new Airbus built would actually prove to be the easy part. Convincing the world to take a chance on a completely unproven manufacturer offering an unconventional twin-engine wide-body was another matter altogether. And to make matters worse, the new Airbus A300 debuted in the early 1970s, just in time for a global recession and oil crisis which put a near halt to airplane purchases by airlines. But the A300 eventually caught on, thanks to perseverance and crafty deal-making by Airbus. By the end of the 1970’s the global economy had recovered, but fuel prices had not. The highly efficient twin-engine wide-body found its place in the market. But for Airbus, the A300 was just the beginning. With multinational partnerships in place and a sophisticated supply chain, the groundwork was set for the company’s truly meteoric rise. #Airbus #A300 #Airliners Select footage courtesy the AP Archive AP Archive website: 🤍 YouTube: 🤍 and 🤍 Like the the aviation industry posters found in this video? Join us on this thrilling journey as the Cathay Pacific A350 defies gravity with its lightning-fast speed and straightforward takeoff. Buckle up and experience the exhilaration firsthand with this unforgettable aviation spectacle. Get ready for an adventure you won't want to miss! Cathay Pacific pilots taxiing at slower speeds than other airlines but their takeoffs are so impressive and short compared to other airlines. In recent news : Cathay Pacific has expressed concerns about some of its pilots taxiing at slower speeds than other airlines, leading to congestion on taxiways. The airline has stated that future instances of slow taxiing could result in disciplinary action. Speculations have arisen regarding the motives behind the slower taxiing, with some suggesting that pilots are intentionally prolonging taxi time to increase their pay. However, pilots argue that the minimal difference in pay resulting from extra minutes of taxiing makes this claim baseless. The issue was initially raised by the Airport Authority Hong Kong, highlighting data indicating slower taxi speeds for Cathay Pacific compared to other operators. The union representing Cathay Pacific pilots attributes the slower taxiing to poor pilot morale, which they believe is a smaller part of the larger issue of pilot shortages and reduced wages at the airline. They suggest that until these underlying issues are addressed, little will change. Another Must Watch video !!! Airbus A350 steepest Takeoff 🤍 This footage is the Copyright of Topfelya ©

The A380, once beloved, has struggled in recent years, and experts thought it would die. This was no fault of the aircraft itself, as the major airlines shifted their gaze from widebody aircrafts to smaller aircrafts, even for long-haul travel. But Airlines are now taking certain steps with the A380’s that might seem a bit unusual. So, what are they? You would expect that the A380 would be the dream aircraft of every airliner due to its comfortability and high capacity. But from airline owners’ point of view, they seemed to have their fair share of problems with it. The onset of the COVID pandemic did little to improve the situation, and Airbus ceased to produce more of it as the orders seemed to cease. We saw airlines go for the smaller Boeing 747, which they see as more efficient for profits. Want to watch more, please SUBSCRIBE for many more videos like these. Mega Manufacturing: Airbus A350 | 4K Engineering Documentary Build your own Airbus A350: 🤍 World's Most Advanced Supercars: Birth of the Automobile: 🤍 Assembled in France using millions of components made throughout Europe: The A350 is the most modern commercial aircraft in the world. The Airbus A 350: the most modern commercial aircraft in the world. It takes 1800 highly-skilled specialists in Toulouse, France, and 2.5 million individual parts, delivered from all over the world, to assemble this masterpiece of aeronautic engineering. The goal: An aircraft with minimal consumption and maximum range. 53 percent of the Aircraft consist of a modern ultra-light composite material. But the innovative material also requires entirely new manufacturing processes. A challenge for the aircraft manufacturers in Toulouse. And the final assembly is preceded by a logistical masterpiece: The individual parts of the aircraft travel from various Airbus plants in Europe to Toulouse: the front and centre sections from Saint-Nazaire in France, the tail section from Hamburg, the wings from Broughton in Wales and Bremen, and the tail fin from Getafe in Spain. The factory in Toulouse is supplied with these parts by a specially developed transport aircraft, the Beluga. Several times a day, five of these machines commute between the various plants and bring supplies for production seven days a week from early in the morning until midnight. And the journey of the components is not over in Toulouse. By the time the A350 is fully assembled it will have passed through seven hangars or "stations." Given the extremely high number of components that have to be assembled and the large number of different suppliers, there are a lot of risk factors involved in the production of the A350. And the pressure is high: The modern aircraft is extremely popular with airlines, with 890 pending orders to date. Ten aircraft of the A350 have to leave the factory every month no matter what. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #MegaManufacturing ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. The world's two leading narrowbody jets are variations of the Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320. They might not be as mythical or glamorous a creatures as their larger and more imposing siblings, such as the 747 or the A380. However, they are trusted workhorses of most fleets all over the world when it comes to short and medium-haul services. Indeed, for many of us, when we travel by air, we are much more likely to find ourselves on an A320 or 737 for most of our flights. After all, designing a new plane is an inherently risky endeavor. Doing so can cost tens of billions of dollars, and there’s no guarantee you’ll recoup that investment. But recently, the two companies have taken a risk so great that it could jeopardize their business. Both have opened production facilities in China, and in doing so, they could be placing trade secrets in the hands of a hostile actor. Everyone knows that China wants to challenge the Boeing - Airbus duopoly, and now, they have a front-row seat to how these companies actually build their planes. So, why is this happening? Why did Boeing and Airbus open up production in China, and will doing so hurt their market dominance? Let me explain… #Boeing #Airbus #COMAC
At least for planespotters 2020 was a fantastic aviation year. Lots of unusual and rare airplanes showed up at various airports on special cargo flights. In this video I would like to show you my personal Top 10 Aviation highlights of year 2020 and I am going to say a few things to each step. The Airbus A380 of All Nippon Airways departed on a test flight from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Hamburg Finkenwerder and I spent a night at Hamburg just to film it. Around 300 planespotters witnessed the departure of the All Nippon A380 testflight that day. I was also able to film a Boeing 747 Classic in 2020. Unbelievable! 8 years after I saw my last classic Boeing 747 Geo Sky suddenly reactivated a B747-200 Freighter and they operated a few mask charter flights from China to Maastricht. I also included the beautfiul Ilyushin IL62, the Antonov An22, a hard Airbus A300 landing and many more interesting aviation moments of 2020. Airbus A320 e Boeing 737, um é o avião comercial mais vendido de todos os tempos. O outro, o avião comercial mais entregue de todos os tempos. E aí, qual você escolhe? A decisão é técnica? É. Mas puramente técnica? Não. Porém, todavia, contudo... hoje, quem vai tomar essa decisão somos nós, então você vai me ajudar a decidir.
